mw tools quip

mw tools quip [id] [flags]

Read a random Wikimedia quip, or retrieve a particular quip by its ID. Search and browse top quips with the subcommands. JSON output contains an array of IDs, text and source URLs and skips display effects.

• mw tools quip top — Read top Wikimedia quips

--link

Include the source link with each quip

-n, --no-fun

Disable cowsay and lolcat display effects

--output <string>

Output format: text or json Default: text.
