mw wiki page diff SELECTOR [SELECTOR] [flags]

One selector shows that title/revision’s latest change against its predecessor. Two selectors compare FROM to TO. Selectors accept rev:123 or bare positive revision numbers, title:Earth or ordinary nonnumeric page titles. Use title:123 for a numeric page title.

Text output requests the wiki’s unified diff where available. Older wikis fall back to readable +/-/context lines; fallback text is not a patch file. –output html emits native diff HTML; json/jq expose the native comparison metadata and body. No pages are edited.

Format the specified output

-o, --output <string>

Output format (html|jq|json|text) Default: text.

Wiki login password (or bot password)

--password-file <string>

Read the login password from a file

--profile <string>

Saved profile name or REALM/NAME

Shared-login realm (wikimedia and wikibase-world are built in)

--username <string>

Wiki login username (use Name@bot for a bot password)

-v, --verbose <count>

Increase output verbosity. Example: --verbose=2 or -vv

Wiki URL or API endpoint
