Open and stop a development tunnel

Manage a Cloudflare Quick Tunnel or a private Holesail connection to the Traefik gateway. Cloudflare gives a public HTTPS URL; Holesail needs a client on the connecting machine. Start defaults to cloudflare; use –provider holesail for Holesail. Status, url and logs detect the currently running provider. Tunnels are temporary and are not restored by normal environment start or resume. The gateway authentication service starts only when a tunnel is active. Gateway authentication remains enabled by default with either provider.

Commands

• mw dev tunnel logs — Show or follow the selected tunnel’s logs
• mw dev tunnel start — Start a tunnel to the development environment
• mw dev tunnel status — Show whether the selected tunnel is running
• mw dev tunnel stop — Stop tunnels and their authentication while keeping local access running
• mw dev tunnel url — Print the current tunnel URL or Holesail connection string

Options

--provider <string>

Tunnel provider: cloudflare or holesail (start defaults to cloudflare; other commands detect the active tunnel)

Global options

-c, --context <string>

Development context to use (overrides CONTEXT) Default: default.
